In line with the client’s requirements, we selected white melamine, as this material is wear- and scratch-resistant and easy to clean. To meet the requirement for translucency, we used tempered clear glass, which provides better protection for children and reduces the risk of serious injury if broken. The project has now been completed to the client’s full satisfaction.
In a school project in Vietnam, the client required classroom doors that were stable and durable. We proposed a design using plywood for the classroom doors; this material is less likely to crack than solid wood, offers good moisture resistance, and can withstand occasional exposure to sun and rain without significant issues, whilst being more cost-effective than solid wood doors. The client ultimately adopted our proposal, and this batch of doors is currently in production.
For the library and study room project at a school in Thailand, the client required wooden doors that were soundproof, resistant to warping and offered good value for money.
