Prehung Doors Save You 60% of the Installation Time
Your prehung door is fully assembled in the factory before dispatch. Every prehung door is assembled in our workshop by fitters with at least 10 years’ experience.
Before assembly, we use CNC machinery to drill lock holes in your prehung door leaf, with a drilling tolerance of within +2 mm.
Once the holes have been cut, we attach the door leaf to the frame using 3–4 hinges. To ensure safe transport, we do not pre-fit the door handle, but we do pre-drill the screw holes, so you can install the handle immediately upon receipt.

Prehung Door Adjustment for Hinges and Door Gaps
To ensure the aesthetic appeal and structural durability of your prehung door, we will design the hinge installation positions based on the height of your door leaf. Generally, the top and bottom hinges are positioned 20 centimetres from the top and bottom of the door leaf, respectively, whilst the middle hinge is positioned 55 centimetres below the top hinge.
Furthermore, to prevent the door leaf from becoming too loose due to wood shrinkage in dry conditions, or causing friction when closing due to wood expansion in damp conditions, we will maintain a gap of between 4 and 5 millimetres between your prehung door leaf and the door frame.
These measures ensure that your door leaf is correctly aligned and operates smoothly when opening and closing.
