Wanbaoyijia Quality Interior Door Structure and Material Configuration
Quality Interior Door describes our mid-range interior door configuration rather than one fixed material or a single door-core type. This allows you to choose different combinations of internal materials according to your project budget and usage requirements, rather than being limited to one fixed structure.
The door leaf uses a rubberwood frame with a width of 40 mm. Particleboard, eucalyptus or rubberwood can be used as internal support materials, with graphite homogeneous board or acoustic foam filling the 80–100 mm spaces. This combination allows you to adjust the configuration according to different project requirements for door leaf weight, internal support and sound insulation.
The door frame is mainly made from rubberwood, while multi-layer plywood, eucalyptus and other materials can also be selected according to the project. The door frame thickness is 30 mm. This allows you to choose a more suitable door frame material according to your budget, door leaf weight and project specifications, rather than using the same configuration for every order.
Taking our factory standard size of 2100 × 900 × 160 mm as an example, a complete Quality Interior Door set weighs approximately 30–35 kg. For projects that require a more substantial door feel than an economical door without making the door set too heavy, this weight range offers more flexibility in configuration.
Popular Designs for Quality Interior Doors
Quality Interior Doors can be finished with PET, melamine or paint, and can also incorporate glass, applied mouldings and aluminium strips. The following are some popular styles for mid-range projects that require more design options.

A soft grey surface with asymmetric black curved lines creates a clean visual detail, while the matching grey frame keeps the complete door appearance coordinated.

A light grey flush surface is divided by simple geometric lines, including a narrow dark vertical accent that adds contrast without making the design overly complex.

A dark grey wood-grain surface gives this door a more restrained appearance, with a simple vertical detail that suits modern residential and apartment interiors.

Several narrow vertical decorative lines run beside the handle area, giving the plain grey surface more definition while keeping the overall design simple and balanced.

A light vertical wood-grain surface is combined with a peephole and electronic lock, making the design practical for hotel rooms, apartments and managed residential projects.

Light wood grain is paired with a narrow black vertical inlay and electronic lock, creating a clear visual contrast while maintaining a simple contemporary appearance.

A light grey wood-grain surface uses a horizontal line and small geometric centre detail to create visual separation without relying on traditional raised-panel construction.

A brown wood-grain frame surrounds multiple textured glass panels arranged in a regular grid, providing a decorative option for interiors that require more visual openness.

A light wood-grain surface is accented by a wide vertical brown strip near one side, creating a simple two-tone detail suitable for modern interior spaces.

A grey door with a matching upper transom uses narrow vertical line details beside the handle area, giving taller openings a more complete and coordinated appearance.

A warm brown surface with a matching upper transom features a narrow horizontal decorative strip across the door leaf, adding detail while keeping the design restrained.

A warm brown wood-grain surface is divided by a narrow vertical line beside the handle area, giving the otherwise simple door leaf a clear asymmetric detail.
Quality Interior Doors by Filled-Core Configuration
Quality Interior Doors use different combinations of support materials and lightweight filling materials.
Particleboard Support + Graphite Homogeneous BoardParticleboard is used as the main internal support material, with graphite homogeneous board filling the spaces between it. This option is suitable for projects that require a filled internal structure but do not have a high budget.
Rubberwood Support + Graphite Homogeneous BoardRubberwood is used as the main internal support material, with graphite homogeneous board filling the spaces between it. If you prefer a timber support structure and have certain sound insulation requirements, you can choose this configuration.
Rubberwood Support + Acoustic FoamRubberwood is used as the support material, with acoustic foam filling the spaces between it. This configuration is more suitable for bedrooms, offices and other interior spaces where sound control is more important.
Advantages of Quality Interior Doors
Quality Interior Doors are priced between hollow-core doors and solid timber doors. They are intended for projects with a slightly higher budget that do not require a luxury specification.

The internal space of the door leaf is basically fully filled, allowing you to obtain a more substantial internal structure without moving directly to a fully solid door. Compared with a solid timber door, it offers better value for money.

Graphite homogeneous board or acoustic foam is filled between the internal filling materials. If your project has sound-insulation requirements, this filling option can improve the sound-insulation configuration with only a slight increase in budget.

In our experience, almost all electronic locks designed for interior wooden doors can be matched with this door. Please provide the lock model or dimensions before production so that we can confirm the lock-body size, machining positions and any required internal reinforcement in advance.

3.0 mm thick hinges are better matched to Quality Interior Door leaves. Three or four hinges can be used according to the door leaf size, helping to reduce the risk of door leaf sagging and your after-sales risk.

The complete door set uses a 60 mm wide multi-layer plywood architrave. The door frame mainly uses rubberwood, while the architrave uses multi-layer plywood. After installation, the complete door set has a more attractive appearance and is suitable for mid-range residential, office and hotel projects.

The door frame is not limited to one fixed structure. Rubberwood is the main material, while multi-layer plywood, eucalyptus and other materials can also be selected according to the project. More configuration options give you greater flexibility when choosing the door frame.
Foam Board Protection on Both Sides
Wanbaoyijia wraps the door leaf with three layers of cardboard, with protective foam around all four edges, followed by a plastic bag and foam corner protectors at all four corners. In addition, a 10 mm thick foam board is added to both the front and back of the door leaf.
For long-distance transport or full-container project orders, this gives different parts of the door leaf corresponding protection and reduces the chance of the door surface being directly knocked during handling and transport.

Rubberwood Door Frame
Wanbaoyijia uses rubberwood as the door frame substrate for Quality Interior Doors to help the door frame remain straight in different temperature and humidity conditions and reduce the risk of deformation and cracking. The selected rubberwood is processed through high-temperature steaming, degreasing and kiln drying with moisture balancing, allowing the moisture content to be stably controlled at 10%–12% so that the internal stresses in the timber are sufficiently released.
For your project, this door frame structure can improve the stability of the wooden door and reduce the risk of loose screws, door frame deformation, and the door leaf sagging or rubbing against the floor, helping to reduce later adjustment and after-sales maintenance work.

Acoustic Foam Customised to Our Door Core Structure

Wanbaoyijia works with acoustic foam manufacturers on a long-term basis. The acoustic foam used in Quality Interior Doors is not simply selected from fixed specifications available on the market. Instead, we design it according to the internal door leaf structure and sound-insulation requirements, and then require the acoustic foam manufacturer to produce it according to our specifications.
The internal support structures and filling methods of different Quality Interior Doors are not exactly the same, so the acoustic foam also needs to match the actual door core structure rather than making the door leaf adapt to one fixed material specification.
For your project, Wanbaoyijia can match the appropriate acoustic foam to the selected Quality Interior Door structure, adding a sound-insulation configuration without requiring you to upgrade directly to a more expensive fully solid door, helping achieve a better balance between sound insulation and purchasing budget.
Quality Interior Door Solutions for Different Performance Requirements
Different Quality Interior Door projects may have different requirements for sound insulation, structural strength, internal filling and moisture resistance. The following cases show how we adjusted the door configuration to balance performance requirements with the project budget.

In a project in Peru, the customer had different sound-insulation requirements within the same project. The bedrooms required a higher level of sound insulation, but the customer did not want the budget to increase too much. After reviewing the project requirements, I recommended increasing the door leaf thickness. The standard thickness of a Quality Interior Door is 50 mm, while the bedroom doors can use 55 mm door leaves. This can improve the sound-insulation performance of the door leaf without increasing the price too much.

In a project in Brazil, the customer’s electronic lock was relatively large, and other security hardware also needed to be installed. The customer was concerned that machining the door leaf for the hardware would reduce its strength. We asked the customer to send us the dimensions of the electronic lock. After reviewing them, we decided to reinforce the key areas according to the electronic-lock design requirements. This helps reduce the risk of the door leaf becoming weaker after the electronic lock and other hardware are installed. The customer was very satisfied with our solution, and the project is now close to completion.

In a project in Malaysia, the customer had already selected the colour, design and internal door leaf structure. However, the developer later changed the plan and reduced the budget. The customer asked whether there was a way to maintain both the sound-insulation performance and the strength of the door leaf. After reviewing the customer’s requirements, we proposed a structure using acoustic foam + a rubberwood frame. Our standard Quality Interior Door uses eucalyptus for the internal filling structure, but it can be upgraded to rubberwood to improve strength. After watching the video we sent, the customer ultimately decided to use this configuration.

In a hotel project in Singapore, the project was located near the coast. The customer’s requirements were sound insulation, good value for money and moisture resistance. Based on these requirements, we recommended using plywood facing panels for the Quality Interior Door. Our standard Quality Interior Door uses carbon crystal board. Upgrading to plywood can improve the moisture resistance of the Quality Interior Door without increasing the cost too much.

Customer Feedback on Wanbaoyijia Quality Interior Doors
No. Quality Interior Door is not a standard name for one fixed material or one fixed core structure. On this page, Quality Interior Door refers to a mid-range configuration system in which the internal support, filling, facing panel and hardware can be adjusted according to the project’s performance requirements and budget.
No. Fully Filled means that most of the internal space of the door leaf is occupied by structural or filling materials. These materials can include timber supports, particleboard, graphite homogeneous board or acoustic foam. It does not mean that the entire door leaf is made from solid timber.
No. Increasing the door leaf thickness can help improve the overall configuration, but sound insulation is also affected by the door core, door gaps, sealing and installation. Without corresponding test results, a 55 mm door leaf should not be directly associated with a specific dB sound-insulation value.
No. Greater weight does not automatically mean a better configuration. The internal structure also needs to consider strength, sound-insulation requirements, door leaf weight, hardware load capacity and project budget.
The Quality Interior Door configuration can be adjusted according to the project, but the facing panel and internal core should not be treated as two completely unrelated choices. The facing panel, internal support, filling materials, surface finish and usage environment should be confirmed together as a complete configuration before production.
Quality Interior Doors are not defined by one fixed material or core standard. For project purchasing, it is more important to consider the internal door leaf structure, door frame stability, finish quality, hardware matching and performance after installation. For our factory, we consider a Quality Interior Door to be a wooden door with a moderate price level, relatively good sound insulation, a good closing feel and fewer after-sales problems.
Not necessarily. A Solid Core usually has a higher internal filling ratio and a more substantial feel, but Quality Interior Doors do not all need to use the same Solid Core structure. Depending on the project requirements, different timber support materials can be used together with graphite homogeneous board, acoustic foam or other filling materials to balance strength, weight, sound insulation and budget.
Yes. We can pre-assemble them in the factory so that only simple installation is required after you receive the doors.
A Door Slab mainly refers to the door leaf itself and normally does not mean that the door frame, architraves and hardware are included. A complete Quality Interior Door can be supplied with the door leaf, door frame, architraves and confirmed hardware according to the order requirements.
